Can the Volunteer System Be Canceled?
It is known that the allegations made by Pawan Kalyan against the volunteers
Former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar made some crucial comments and said that if any case is filed in the court then the Volunteer system would be canceled. He said that he doesn't understand why TDP and Janasena did not approach the court to cancel the Volunteer system. It would be enough if at least one party files a case. Why are the chiefs of the Telugu Desam Party and Janasena parties fearing canceling the volunteer system? Chandrababu Naidu is not talking about the Volunteer system thinking new issues might come.
It is known that the allegations made by Pawan Kalyan against the volunteers that they are the reason for human trafficking created a big sensation. Everyone knows that Pawan Kalyan made a baseless allegation. No one knows how Pawan Kalyan made the allegations without any evidence. Pawan Kalyan missed the logic that women going missing and human trafficking are different. Though the Ministry of Home Affairs in its report said that women and girls are missing, it did not say that human trafficking is happening.
The volunteer system went into the public. Though some of them might have a negative image, overall they have a positive image. It would get a negative result if anyone filed a case seeking the cancellation of the Volunteer system. Knowing this, Chandrababu, Pawan Kalyan did not file a case in the court.
Undavalli might say anything in the media briefings as there is nothing for him to lose. If two and a half lakh Volunteers, 1.5 lakh Village and ward volunteers turn against then it would be an issue to Telugu Desam and Janasena but not Undavalli. That's why Chandrababu is talking carefully. Chandrababu even promised that the Volunteer system will not be removed and it would be made even stronger after coming to power. So it would be good if he tells what should be done practically instead of giving free advice to TDP and Janasena. His advice should not push the opposition parties into problems.
