The Home Ministry has indicated that additional funds will be provided following a comprehensive assessment from these teams.
Among the states receiving significant financial support, Andhra Pradesh has been allocated **Rs. 1,036 crore**, while Telangana will receive **Rs. 416.80 crore**. Maharashtra has also been granted a substantial **Rs. 1,492 crore** for flood relief efforts. Other states benefiting from this financial assistance include Assam (**Rs. 716 crore**), Bihar (**Rs. 655.60 crore**), and Gujarat (**Rs. 600 crore**), among others.
The funding is crucial for recovery efforts in the affected areas, as many regions have faced severe flooding, impacting thousands of lives and livelihoods.
