Upasana Kamineni Takes On Big Role in Telangana Sports

Upasana Kamineni, wife of Ram Charan, has made a name for herself beyond just being a star’s partner. Over the years, she’s transformed from a soft, chubby look to a fit and confident personality, and many of her 10 million followers admire the change. She’s known for promoting health, wellness, and strength.

She was recently named Co-Chairman of the Telangana Sports Hub by the Telangana government. She will collaborate with Sanjiv Goenka to support the expansion of the state's sports industry. In order to foster youthful talent and build a robust sports system, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy announced the government's Sports Policy 2025, which includes these.

Upasana is also the head of UR Life and part of Apollo Hospitals’ CSR wing. She’s been active in fitness and youth programs, which makes her a good choice for this post. Her focus will be on athlete care, fitness in schools, and improving sports support systems.
