It is already known that India and China had been reinstating the relationship between the two countries after a brief period of stand-off. Things are starting to change at a considerable base now, and this has been identified by the United States of America as well.

The United States has reacted on this matter now, and they have pointed out that India has been indirectly helping out China by letting them transport the goods through Indian ports.

According to the latest US Commerce’s Office of Trade and Economic Analysis estimates, it is established that approximately $67 billion in US bound goods were transshipped from China through the top hubs, Mexico, India, and Vietnam, in 2025, producing an estimated $28 billion in lost tariff revenue.

This is a pretty serious allegation that has been made by the United States authorities against India, helping out China by transporting their goods through Indian ports in order to reduce the tariff.

This White House report has accused India of helping China circumvent US tariffs by routing Chinese goods through Indian ports. India has been placed in Tier 1, alongside Canada, the EU, Israel, Japan, Mexico, South Korea and Taiwan.

Considering the fact that the United States is already furious with India and has been imposing tariffs and fines on a regular basis, it has to be seen where this current scenario would be ending up in the future
