The United States government has started to impose extreme sanctions against immigration population, including the student community and also working community. This became increasingly evident after Donald Trump announced that the H1B Visa fee has been locked at 100K dollars henceforth.

In this context, the White House has officially communicated the news about the massive H1BV visa fee that has been imposed and here is what they have to say about the same.

The White House has strongly defended the Trump administration decision to introduce a one lakh dollar fee for new H1B visa applications. Officials say this major increase is meant to prevent misuse of the visa program and to protect jobs for American workers.

According to the administration, many companies have been using the H1B route to bring in cheaper foreign employees, which affects wages and opportunities for local workers.

To strengthen the process, the government has also started Project Firewall under the Department of Labor. This initiative will closely examine companies that violate visa rules and take action against those that misuse the program.

The administration says the new system is designed to support only the most skilled foreign professionals who work in advanced and specialty roles.

The fee applies only to new applications from September twenty one, twenty twenty five, and it will not affect people who already hold H1B status or those applying for extensions. Supporters believe the move will restore fairness, while critics warn it could hurt the technology sector and cause legal disputes.
