The fundamental belief system and community based worship that is followed by Indians is rather very new to the United States population. But they are becoming increasingly susceptible to the same as the amount of Indian population settling in the United States is on constant rise.

In this context, a shocking video has emerged as we see United States people calling the cops on an Indian household who appeared to be performing a Puja ceremony with fire.

Apparently, the Indian family was performing a Pooja ceremony for the God of fire, which is a common practice in the Indian households. But this bemused the United States, people who happened to be the neighbours and they called the cops on the family.

Upon arrival of the police officers established that the family members were performing a routine Pooja ceremony in their garage and the situation was de-escalated by the authorities.

The video shows the Bedford Fire Department responding to the scene, only to find a peaceful religious ceremony rather than a fire hazard.

This scenario underscores the importance of cultural awareness and education, as similar misunderstandings have occurred elsewhere, such as in the US, where Hindu fire rituals led to police intervention due to noise complaints and safety concerns.
