It was not wrong before the United States authorities used to grant study and work permit visa to the Indian nationals at an elevated rate. But things drastically after the start of the Donald Trump government.

We have now arrived at a point with the United States authorities have registered a rejection rate of around 60 to 70% for Indian nationals. This is a matter of great concern to everyone involved.

The latest developments are suggesting that the United States rejection rate for the Indian applicants when it comes to study and work permit visa is around 70%. This is a shockingly high rejection rate for any country, but it also speaks a lot about the volume of Indian population, wishing to travel to the United States.

At a time and other countries like Australia, Korea, Japan and Germany are actively looking to gain the Indian talent. It is perhaps better for the Indian population to go after these countries rather than go after the United States.

Many representatives were earlier associated with immigration policies and also international affairs are commenting that Indian students must look at alternatives like Australia, Korea, Japan, or Germany to better their chances of International study.

But the positive thing here is that this high rejection rate will keep the majority of the Indian graduated student population in the country which will grow its talent pool.
