USA All-rounder Talks About Rohit Sharma’s Inspiration On Him!

There is an all-rounder in the USA team who is becoming a sensation of late. Harmeet Singh spoke about the inspiration he gets from Rohit Sharma as both of them are from Mumbai and went to the same school. While Rohit Sharma was his senior they played first-class games together.

Adding further Singh said that he used to look up to Rohit Sharma during his schooling days. Talking about the journey Rohit Sharma had from the suburbs of Mumbai to entering the Indian team and leading it he said that the journey is interesting.

He went on to say that they followed Rohit Sharma in taking the game beyond the suburbs of Mumbai. There is another connection as Samju Samson, Kuldeep Yadav, and Axar Patel were his fellow teammates when he played in the U 19 World Cup.

Saurabh Netravalkar had a similar story. He played for India in the U-19 and later moved to the USA to pursue higher studies. The speedster was also part of the Mumbai Indians camp and watched Jasprit Bumrah closely who is now one the best in the modern game.
