In some cases, applications may even be rejected outright. The reminder highlights that Green Card processing already takes considerable time, and mistakes only add to the wait.

To avoid setbacks, USCIS advises applicants to carefully read and follow the instructions for each part of the form. They should ensure that all required evidence, such as financial records and supporting documents, are submitted.
