Uttam Blames BRS After Holding First Review Meeting!

The new government was formed in Telangana recently. The Congress party came to power in the state after a long time. The Cabinet was formed under the leadership of Revanth Reddy. 11 Cabinet Ministers took oath along with Revanth and they were allocated their respective portfolios.

The Ministers are busy making efforts to get used to their portfolios. They are meeting the concerned officers and holding meetings to understand things concerning the departments. It's been just a few days since the portfolios were allocated.

Uttam Kumar Reddy was allocated the Civil Supplies Ministry. He held a first review meeting with the concerned officials. After the meeting, Uttam Kumar Reddy made some crucial comments.

He said that his department is facing massive losses of Rs 56,000 crores and he blamed the previous leaders for this. On the occasion, the Cabinet Minister alleged that there were many irregularities in the previous BRS government. His comments created a lot of interest.

This is the first review meeting after he assumed the office as the Minister. At the same, he put the blame on the previous government. Talking about the department, he said that there are massive losses in the department.

Talking about the ration cards, he said that there is a big demand for the cards and he will take this matter to the notice of the Chief Minister. 12 percent of consumers did not use the cards and the grains procured were diverted. The process of procuring grains should be transparent, he said.
