Vandalism Hits Rail Network In Paris Ahead Of Olympics!

The world is looking at Paris to witness the Opening Ceremony of the much-awaited Paris Olympics. Athletes across the globe reached the village already. Following the ceremony the Olympic sports will be started. Ahead of this shocking news is reported to spoil the mood.

BBC reported that ahead of the opening ceremony the French rail network was targeted by the vandals creating big trouble. The rail lines were distributed by this as the high-speed TGV network was targeted.

Unexpected vandalism had hit the high-speed train lines in France last night. The busy train lines that connect Paris with the other sides of the country were disturbed by the attack. The reason behind the attack is not known yet.

The Transport Minister condemned the vandalism and said that such criminal acts would affect the holiday plans of the people. Required measures would be taken in this regard, the Minister observed.

What happened in Paris is dubbed as sabotage as the opening ceremony of the Olympics is slated to begin soon. Lakhs of people are expected to be present at the ceremony to see the celebrations.

The railway operator said that some services were canceled in the wake of the vandalism while other routes were diverted to others as a safety measure. There is no clarity on when the services would be restored to bring the situation under control.

It takes big efforts to repair the routes and get things right on track. Once the repair work is done we can expect the train services to be resumed. Let us hope that the situation gets back to normal as soon as possible.
