Vijayawada Mayor Race: Radha Credits ABV, But…

Vijayawada mayor election has started to grab all the attention in Andhra Pradesh as it has some of the toughest contestants in the scene. This seat is particularly contested by Vangaveeti Radha, who is one of the stronger candidates.

Just before the announcement of the election battle, it was communicated that Vangaveeti Radha has decided to move from Telugu Desam party to the Janasena party. This decision was made official after he met deputy CM Pawan Kalyan and joined the JSP.

There is something significant happening, Radha has implied his opposition candidate AB Venkateswara Rao, who is contesting as an independent has adequate knowledge on development.

He pointed out that AB Venkateswara Rao is a senior officer who had been with the government for many years, and he also has a solid team by his side. He gave the implication that the veteran is far more educated and knowledgable in this aspect, but he would definitely take inputs from him.

Rather said he does not want to bring any political criticism or verbal exchanges into the electoral battle as he said, he wants to keep it very respectful. This is again, another indication that the Vijayawada municipal election is going to be extremely interesting in nature.

It was expected that there would be a lot of heated exchanges between the main candidates associated with the Vijayawada municipality, but it appears that there is a lot of respect mutually.

Retired DGP rank officer AB Venkateswara Rao is contesting this Vijayawada election on his own as an independent candidate. He is having to face competition from the likes of Vangaveeti Radha, who is contesting from the JSP while YCP has failed Bhagyalakshmi Rayana.
