In an unexpected twist, Vasireddy Padma stepped down from the Women's Commission Chairperson’s post. As her decision came right before the elections it caught everyone’s attention. In the capacity of Chairperson, she attacked the opposition parties, Chandrababu and Pawan many times.
Many say that she is a loyalist of CM Jagan. Despite this, she resigned from the post. In a letter, she thanked the CM for the opportunity that was handed over to her.
As she resigned from the post the debates started on what would be her next move. Many say that she might take a political path and contest the elections. Earlier it was reported that she would be a candidate in the last elections. After the YCP came to power she was given the big position.
Which party she would join is the question many have. While a few say that she might join the ruling party and be a candidate, few others say that she might take the Janasena route. To back the speculations they say that Vasireddy Padma who was earlier assured a ticket reportedly was not granted and keeping this in mind she might join the Janasena.
