Recently, the Telangana government announced the decision to change the vehicle registration letters to TG from the existing TS. The Jaya Jayahe Telangana song which was widely used was picked as the state song. The Cabinet gave its nod to the decision. Now the same was announced by Revanth Reddy.
Another big news came from Revanth Reddy. Addressing the house, the Chief Minister said that the official symbol of the state will be changed. The Chief Minister made some crucial comments on the occasion and expressed his anger over the existing symbol.
Highlighting the journey of Telangana, Revanth Reddy said that this is the state that fought against the Nizam and the ruling. Sammakka and Saralamma opposed paying money to the Kakatiya rulers. This is the history of the state, he said.
Adding further Revanth Reddy said that it was unfortunate that the state's official symbol has Charminar on one side and the Kakatiya symbol on the other side. Hence it was decided to change the official symbol of Telangana, the Chief Minister said.
In his speech, Revanth Reddy also highlighted the work the government did after assuming power. He said that the free bus travel scheme for women was implemented and the Aarogyasri Scheme limit was also increased to Rs 10 lakhs. The Chief Minister also said that two more guarantees would be implemented soon.
