Adding a new twist to the election fever, Rahul Gandhi picked Rae Bareli, the Congress party’s strong zone in Uttar Pradesh. He is not contesting from his current Wayanad seat. Usually, leaders pick sitting seats due to the better winning chances. But Rahul Gandhi went for a tough decision.

Ahead of the elections, a popular chess master’s tweet caught everyone’s attention as he urged Rahu Gandhi to win the Rae Bareli seat first. A video of Rahul Gandhi playing chess on his mobile phone went viral and in the video, he took the name of Garry Kasparov as his favourite player.

When a social media user posted about a possible match between Rahul and Garry, the Chessmaster gave an unexpected reply. He said first win Rae Bareli.

Without any doubt, his post created a sensation within the political circles as this happened ahead of the polls. Those who don't like Congress are widely sharing the tweet. Then comes the twist with the player giving an explanation.

Veteran Chess player Garry Kasparov said that his jokes won't advocate in Indian politics. Having said that he observed he cannot miss an opportunity to see a politician indulging in a game which he loves.

"I very much hope my little joke does not pass for advocacy or expertise in Indian politics! But as an "all-seeing monster with 1000 eyes," as I was once described, I cannot fail to see a politician dabbling in my beloved game!," the Chess player said.

It is known that this is election time and everything related to it gets a lot of attention. The same happened now and the chess player’s tweet went viral. With this, he issued a clarification.
