On the occasion of BR Ambedkar Jayanti today, Thalapathy Vijay stepped out in the Chennai city to pay respects at a statue of Ambedkar. This incident happened earlier in the day today when Vijay came out at around 8 AM to offer respects and prayers to the Ambedkar statue.

However, in political terms, such events are planned in a grand manner, and there will be a lot of crowd gathering and momentum leading into the same.

But in the case of Thalapathy Vijay, he decided to keep this public event to the bare minimum. Here came out in a simple Maruti Swift car without any sort of mad rush in terms of crowd mobilisation or fan engagement. He simply wanted to keep this event, has a very candid affair, and the same reflected in the vibe that was exhibited while he stepped out.
