Tough Game Starts Now, Can CM Vijay Emerge Victorious?

Thalapathy Vijay has created a new piece of history in Tamil Nadu by becoming the chief minister of the state in his very first election campaign. He was super successful in creating a solid campaign for his party and eventually bringing it to power in the first attempt itself.

But this is where the real game is starting for Vijay at the political level as he is starting to face the real challenges of hard-core Tamil Nadu politics.

Interestingly, Vijay is facing significant setback from his own ally, CPI, which has been making public comments against him and his government policies.

Several CPI senior leaders from Tamil Nadu, including Shanmugam have been publicly commenting that Vijay government is focussed on buying the votes through money. They are pointing out that the Vijay Government is acting recklessly by paying people crores of money just to gain their votes.

It was made to appear that the TVK is giving cash benefits to the common public ahead of the upcoming by election in the state.

The interesting thing is that Vijay is not facing the opposition from the designated opposition parties in the state, but from his own alliance party, CPI. If the CPI actually goes on to withdraw the support for the TVK government, then things could get really interesting.

Vijay is facing the first major challenge in his political career thus far and he is starting to crumble under the heat. If the CPI actually goes on to withdraw support to the alliance, maintaining the stability of the government is going to be a bigger challenge nevertheless.
