Tamil Superstar Vijay has contested in two constituencies in Tamil Nadu, like the likes of Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan have contested in two places in the Andhra Pradesh elections in some previous cases. Now that Vijay is likely to win in both constituencies, what happens is that he has to give up one seat, and a by-election will be held there. So, who is going to contest there?
Apparently, Vijay contested from the Perambur constituency in Chennai and the Tiruchirappalli East (Trichy East) in Central Tamil Nadu in the ongoing election. He’s actually getting a whopping majority from both places, and he is likely to win both. In fact, these two places are strong powerpackets of DMK all these days, and Vijay chose them, so that he will challenge them. Now that he will give up one of the seats, Tamil media is busy figuring out who might get the ticket over there.
A section of the media reported that Vijay’s father, former filmmaker SA Chandrasekhar, is likely to contest on the TVK ticket from the constituency that the Superstar gives up. His father is very vocal about his son’s political ambitions, and also supported him big time in the last two years. Then comes the name of Trisha, who has already gone to Vijay’s house to congratulate him. There are rumours that Trisha is the one who chose tickets for a few candidates in the elections, and she played a vital role in choosing the right candidate team for the TVK party. If Trisha gets a seat, then things will be on a different level.
