Jagan Or Sharmila? Whom Mother Vijayamma Would Support?

Everything changed upside down in just five years. For the 2019 elections, siblings-brother and sister actively campaigned for the party and gave energetic speeches. Cut to 2024, the siblings almost became opponents and the sister is gearing up to face her brother’s party in his strong fortress. What will the mother do is the question now.

YS siblings Jagan Mohan Reddy and Sharmila campaigned for YCP in the last elections. Sharmila actively took the ‘Bye Bye Babu’ slogan into the public. She did her best and put in the best efforts for her brother’s party YSRCP which is in power now.

Many things changed in the last five years. YS Sharmila joined the Congress party and she is the state chief now. She was announced as the Kadapa candidate and she will face her cousin Avinash Reddy in the polls. There is no doubt in saying that the Kadapa politics became interesting with this.

Now everyone wants to know what YS Vijayaamma would do and whom she will support between Jagan and Sharmila. It is known that Jagan is contesting from the Pulivendula MLA segment and Sharmila is the Kadapa Congress candidate. People wonder if she would campaign for either of them.

YS Vijayamma was with Jagan since the YCP inception and was active in holding meetings too. She even contested the elections but lost. However, she served as the Honorary chief of the party. Her ties with YCP ended when YS Sharmila entered the Telangana political space.

When Sharmila started YSRTP Vijayamma supported Sharmila and walked with her. Now Sharmila is gearing up to contest as MP. Now it had become interesting to see who Vijayamma would support.

On the other hand, a few say that Vijayamma might remain silent instead of supporting one. The reason they give is that if she supports one, the opposition would surely highlight this to target them. Jagan is very strong as he is the CM and if anyone needs Vijayamma’s services then it has to be Sharmila. Considering all these aspects it had become interesting to see what Vijayamma would do as the elections are approaching.
