As per the report of Fortune India., King Kohli paid the highest tax among the sports stars in the country. For the financial year 2024, Virat Kohli paid Rs 66 crores which is huge. He surpassed the legendary players.

Looking at the other players on the list Mahendra Singh Dhoni is in second place with Rs 38 crores. Virat Kohli paid around double the amount what Dhoni paid. Legendary player Sachin Tendulkar paid Rs 28 crore to get the next spot. Sourav Ganguly paid Rs 23 crore as tax.

Young players also featured on the list. All Rounder Hardik Pandya and Wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant paid Rs 13 crores and Rs 10 crores respectively and found a spot on the list.

Looking at the overall list in the country, Virat Kohli stood in fifth place on the list of highest tax-paying celebrities. SRK, Tamil Star Vijay, Salman Khan, and Amitabh Bachchan are in the top four positions and Virat Kohli is in fifth place.
