Ahead Of World Cup,Virat Has A Request For Friends!

The wait is finally over. The biggest cricket tournament in the world, the World Cup will kickstart in a few hours. The Mega Tournament will start tomorrow. In the opening match, the defending champions England and Runner up New Zealand will lock horns.

India is hosting the tournament. After the 2011 edition, India was picked as the host. Following this, the teams landed in India and a few teams flexed their muscles in the warm-up matches. If not for the rain, India would have also played the warm-up matches.

India is entering the tournament as one of the hot favorites. The Indian team is very well aware of the pitch and conditions and this might work well for Men In Blue. It's been a long time since India won an ICC trophy. India lifted the last ICC trophy in 2013 when Dhoni was the skipper. Fans are hopeful that India will repeat the 2011 heroics.

As the World Cup will kickstart in a few hours, Run Machine Virat Kohli has a request to his friends. He requested his friends to not request him for tickets for the event. Having said that he urged them to enjoy the matches at their homes. He said this in an Instagram post.

"As we approach the World Cup, I would humbly like to let all my friends know to not request me for tickets all through the tournament. Enjoy from your homes please," the former skipper said in an Instagram story.

There is nothing wrong with what he said. No words can describe the craze the game has and the World Cup is being played. The tickets for the matches were sold like hotcakes and everyone was stunned to see the craze.

When Virat Kohli shared the story, his wife Anushka Sharma reacted. The Bollywood actress shared her request. She urged everyone to not request her if their messages are not answered by Virat Kohli for the tickets.
