Vizag Harbour Fire: Police Names Two People As Accused!

The shore city Vizag hit the headlines for the wrong reason with a fire accident that happened at the Shipping Harbour. The unfortunate incident happened earlier last week that brought a big loss to the tune of a few crores. Multiple boats were gutted to fire in the mishap.

The unfortunate incident has been a much-talked-about issue in the state for the past few days. Given the massive scale of the incident, several concerns were raised. The disaster also raised a few questions on how this happened. Youtuber Nani’s name also popped up as the accused.

Now CP Ravi Shankar held a press meet and revealed sensational details in the case. He said that Vasupalli Nani and his uncle are the accused in the case. He said that the fire mishap happened when they threw a cigarette at the harbour which led to quick fire.

At the same time, the CP said YouTuber Local Boy Nani has nothing to do with the case. His name popped up as the accused as he and Vasupalli Nani shared the same name. On the same occasion, the CP said that YouTuber is nowhere linked to the fishing harbour mishap.

Adding further the CP said the two people had liquor and prepared a fish fry on the boat. When they threw a cigarette on the boat no 815 fire started and it picked up massively. The strong winds in the harbour played a big role in spreading the fire which damaged many boats.

Earlier it was reported that the Police retrieved crucial CCTV footage which is expected to come in handy in the probe. Making this true the cops said two people are the accused who are behind this.

As per the estimation, the mishap caused a big loss that amounts to a few crores. More than 30 boats are said to have been gutted to fire while a few other boats were damaged.
