Upcoming Wedding Season To Generate Over 4 Lakh Cr Business!

Marriage is not just a ceremony but more than that. It is a memorable occasion in everyone's life and many say that their life actually started with it as they got more serious and responsible in life after tying the knot. This is the impact marriage can have on one's life.

The wedding season is fast approaching and people who are getting married are busy with the preparations. Their family members are also busy with this. Along with them, the business sector is also eagerly waiting for the season as the sector is expected to see a big income.

Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) said that in the upcoming wedding season, business worth Rs 4.5 lakh crore is expected to be generated. In its report, the traders' body said this and said that during the season around 35 lakh weddings will take place.

In the report, the traders' body segregated the weddings based on the costs spent on weddings. Weddings under Rs 3 lakh, Rs 6 lakh, Rs 10 lakh, Rs 25 lakh, Rs 50 lakh and Rs 1 crore are the categories of weddings. Around 50 thousand weddings under the cap of Rs 1 crore will take place during the season.

The wedding season will start on November 23 and will last till December 15. During this period, around 35 lakh weddings are expected to take place across the nation. Compared to the last season, the business had increased. Last year, the wedding season generated a business of Rs 3.75 lakh crores. For the upcoming season, business worth Rs Rs 4.5 lakh crores was generated.

Wedding season also brings good business for catering, travel, cab, vegetable vendors, tent decorators, videography, DJs, and others. These fields are also expected to witness big growth in the business.
