CM Has Small House, Only 16 Lakh Assets!

India is a financially sound country when it comes to the financial prospect of politicians. Several MLAs and MPs across the country have a lot of upside when it comes to financial side of things.

But in the case of West Bengal, chief minister Mamata Banerjee, who happened to lose the recent assembly election, the situation appears to be the exact opposite.

Despite having served as the chief minister of West Bengal for 15 years, Mamata Banerjee is still one of the poorest chief minister in the country when it comes to financial assets.

According to her own declaration in the election affidavit, Mamata Banerjee has claimed that she has only ₹16,00,000 in assets overall, and this is about all the financial prospect that she has.

This has become major news now, and it got elevated further after Mamata Banerjee gave a glimpse of her house while meeting Akhilesh Yadav at her residence in Bengal.

People were absolutely amazed and surprised to see the kind of humble living that Banerjee has sustained as she is still living in a very ordinary house with very little security arrangement. No one would believe that this would be the house of the chief minister, if they look at the house that Mamata is currently living in.

But at the same time, the Opposition parties are commenting that Mamata Banerjee looted Bengal’s money is just living in this house to maintain a clean image and nothing beyond that.
