The ruling YSRCP is facing back-to-back blows ahead of the much-awaited general elections. The legislators are leaving the party one after the other. Be it MLAs or MPs, the legislators are leaving the party at regular intervals. The first blood was drawn by Alla Ramakrishna Reddy.

Narasaraopet MP Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayulu is the new addition to the list of leaders who left the party. The sitting MP announced his resignation as the MP and from the party membership. He released a video saying the same.

While announcing the news, the MP made some crucial comments. He said that there is a political uncertainty for the past 15 days and even the cadre is confused. Having said that he said he is not responsible for what is happening.

In his video, the sitting MP spoke extensively on the development he did in the constituency in the past few years. He said that the road facility was improved in the region and a few works are going on at a good pace.

With immediate effect, I am resigning from my MP seat and party membership. There is political uncertainty and I am not responsible for this. The cadre is looking confused wondering where to go now. If the same continues, there would be no benefit. With this I took the decision, he said.

The MP also talked about the Narasaraopet MP and said that there is a talk that says a new candidate would be fielded soon. It has to be mentioned here that he was announced as the MP candidate from Guntur earlier.

While there is no clarity on which party he would join next, observers say that he might join the opposition TDP. Recently he met Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh and it is said that political talks might have happened he was reportedly given assurance that he would be given a ticket from Narasaraopet.
