YCP Placed 3 Options Before TDP Candidate In 2019?
As the nomination process is underway a candidate caught everyone’s attention.
The political heat is at its peak in Andhra Pradesh with the elections. There are just 20 days left for the much-awaited elections. As the election date is fast approaching, we are seeing the candidates filing the nomination papers. Big names across the parties filed the papers.
As the nomination process is underway a candidate caught everyone’s attention. It is no wonder that people are still talking about the candidate as he is dubbed as one of the richest candidates in the country as his assets are worth over Rs 5700 Cr.
We are talking about Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar, who is TDP’s candidate from the Guntur seat. He is a doctor by profession. As Galla Jaydev decided to quit politics, Chandra Sekhar was given the TDP ticket. He is busy campaigning for the polls and he is confident of a big win from the seat.
Now an interesting thing has come out which says that the TDP candidate was reportedly given offers by the YCP in 2019. It is said that three options were placed before him by the YCP and asked him to pick one option.
The media reports are abuzz that for the 2019 elections, Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar was offered Guntur MP ticket, Narasaraopet MP ticket, and a Rajya Sabha seat was also offered and asked him to pick one of the three seats.
However, the current TDP leader did not say yes to this despite the party giving him three options and leaving the option for him to pick one. Cut to five years, he is in the election race from the Guntur seat, the strong zone of the TDP.
While it is shocking that the current TDP candidate was offered options by the YCP for the last elections, turning down all the options is another shock. It is said that the difference in ideologies is the reason behind Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar saying no to offers and becoming the TDP candidate in 2024.
Talking about Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar he is an NRI and a doctor by profession. He is one of the richest candidates who are in the race for the upcoming elections.
