Sharmila's Merger: Final Round Of Negotiations Underway?

YS Sharmila, daughter of late YSR who is trying to shine in Telangana politics is a sensation in the state now. Of late we have been hearing a lot that her party would be merged into the Congress party. Debates and discussions have been going on about this.

Recently it was reported that she went to the national capital Delhi to speed up things as far as the merger is concerned. It has been reported that she met a few bigwigs in the party in this regard and the process is underway.

Now the political observers say that the final round of negotiations are going on and we would hear positive news once they come to a common opinion on the party marger. It is said that both sides have different versions and hence the issue is yet to be sorted.

Sharmila comes from a big political family and her followers think that she should get prominence that meets her stature as the daughter of a big leader. Sharmila wants eight seats including Palair as per the experts.

On the other hand, the Congress party thinks it would be good to give three seats. There is a difference of 5 seats in both proposals. So it is taking more time than expected and hence we might have to wait some more time.

Congress party is very adamant of winning the upcoming elections and is not leaving any stone unturned in this regard. There are many aspirants in the party and giving eight seats might reduce the chances of the aspirants.

Keeping this in mind, the Congress wants to give just three seats. After both sides come to a common opinion the process might progress.
