Dallas Resident Wants To Cancel H-1B Visas of Indians

Indians are more in number in the USA. A lot of Indians are flying to the United States with the hope of finding new careers. However, the Indians are being subjected to criticism and in a recent incident, a US citizen named Daniel Keene wrote on social media to cancel the H1-B visas of his Indian neighbours.

Taking to social media, Daniel posted a video where he says that the US authorities must cancel the H1-Bs. “Typical view in my neighborhood outside Dallas. We have to cancel the H1-Bs. I want my kids to grow up in America. Not India," he wrote in the video.

Daniel filmed the video from inside a car, showing people celebrating on the streets with drums and music. They are even chanting "Jai Shriram."

Keene complained about frequent cultural events, saying, “There seems to be a celebration every month. Even then, the neighborhood is easily 70 percent Indian now and it was not this way until recently. All of the Dallas suburbs are overrun by Indians. Just walking down the street around 7 is like walking the streets of Mumbai.”

The H-1B is a non-immigrant visa that allows American companies to hire foreign workers in specialised fields. It is particularly popular among Indian professionals working in multinational firms.
