In what could be considered an extremely distressing incident and Indian origin, MMA fighter, who had gone to Canada three years ago, sadly died in a bear attack.
This individual is named Hrishikesh Koloth and he is originally from Kerala, India and he had travelled to Canada just three years ago to pursue his dream of fighting in the MMA.
This 27-year-old Indian MMA fighter Hrishikesh Koloth tragically lost his life in a black bear attack in northern Saskatchewan earlier this month.
Originally from Kerala, Hrishikesh was working at a uranium exploration site when the attack happened. This incident has created a strong sense of panic amongst the Indian community in Canada and demands for better working conditions.
His family in India has been informed of this matter, and they are greatly gutted by this turn of events. Our condolences and sympathy are with family and friends in this hour of crisis.
It is sad to see such a promising young life being lost due to such a tragical incident, and that too regarding a bear attack in Canada. This is reportedly only fourth fatality involving a bear attack in this province, and that makes this case all the more surprising.
