It is already known that a big section of the Indian working population in the United States has been depending on the H1B visa policy for their job position. This permit which grants working abilities in the United States is getting abused badly these days.

On that note, there are these latest reports on social media, which are going viral where it is being established that certain Indian H1B visa holders have been renting out their DoorDash accounts.

The point to be noted here is that DoorDash is one of the main revenue streams for the Indian population in the United States as it lets people deliver food orders and make money from it. This is one of the leading part-time work facilities in the United States.

Considering the crunch in the job market, several Indians have been drastically depending on DoorDash to generate money by delivering food orders. But considering the legal documentation that is associated with it, only legal immigrants are given access to the same.

So it is now established that Indian H1B holders have been renting their DoorDash account to people without the legal documentation and they have been charging in the vicinity of $300-$500 for the same.

This has become major news already, and it could be classified as another financial scam that is being done by several Indians in the United States and there could be pretty strong consequences.

If the authorities are able to establish a strong precedent on this matter and frame the original H1B holder, then there could be strong legal consequences for the same. This is an extremely risky operation for both the H1B holder, and also the person who is doing the DoorDash delivery without documentation.
