Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are in the race for the big post to reach the White House.
Everyone is looking at the election episode in the United States. What happens in the United States would impact other nations too and hence the election episode is being observed by one and all. Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are in the race for the big post to reach the White House.
If we look at the election trend it appears that the Indian-Americans are slowly moving towards Kamala Harris. A recent survey hinted at the same. As per the reports, a new survey said that around 68% of Indian American voters said they support the Democratic party while just 29% support Republicans.
This can be seen as a big jump in their favour. In the 2016 elections, Donald Trump was supported by the community. Before the 2020 elections, they are said to have supported him as his events attracted good numbers of Indians.
Donald Trump’s closeness to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi might have also played a role in this.
Coming to the upcoming elections Kamala Harris is slowly gathering support in the Indian-American community. On social media, the community is said to be sharing posts in support of Kamala Harris.
Talking about the reason behind the shift in favour of the Indian community, fears of what Donald Trump would do is crucial. Earlier Donald Trump openly spoke about preferring the locals over immigrants in employment opportunities causing a big uproar.
Though Donald Trump has changed his stance, it looks like Indian Americans are not ready to trust him. The polls are saying that they are supporting Kamala Harris.
