Shocking Video: Russian Attacks Indian Man?

It is already known that the Indian population globally has been facing a very problematic situation as the global politics are not in our favour now. We have witnessed several cases of foreign individuals attacking the Indian community individuals abroad.

On February 7, a shocking knife attack took place at the State Medical University dormitory in Ufa, in Russia’s Bashkortostan Republic, injuring several people.

Among those hurt were four Indian students, who were rushed to hospitals for treatment. Local authorities say at least six people in total were wounded, including two police officers who were stabbed while trying to arrest the suspect.

The suspected attacker was a 15-year-old boy who entered the foreign students’ hostel with a knife and began stabbing occupants inside.

According to preliminary reports and Russian media, the teenager was linked to a banned neo-Nazi group and shouted nationalist slogans referencing the Holocaust during the assault. Authorities have shared that a Nazi swastika symbol was found drawn on a wall in blood, believed to be from one of the victims, raising serious concerns about extremist motives behind the violence.

The suspect resisted arrest and also injured himself before being taken into custody and hospitalized. A high-level investigation is underway to determine the motive and whether others were involved.

The Indian Embassy in Moscow confirmed the injuries and said consular officials have been sent to Ufa to assist the affected students and ensure they receive proper care.
