Telangana Student Dies in Germany on New Year Day

A heartbreaking incident in Germany has deeply shocked the Telugu community. A young Telugu student lost his life on New Year’s Day in a tragic accident leaving his family and friends in great sorrow.

The student has been identified as Thokala Hruthik Reddy, a native of Malkapur village in Jangaon district of Telangana. He had gone to Germany in 2023 to continue his higher studies after completing his bachelor’s degree in Telangana. Hruthik Reddy was pursuing his master’s degree at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences in Magdeburg.

According to reports, the incident happened when a sudden fire broke out in the apartment where he was staying. The fire spread very quickly, filling the building with smoke and flames. With no clear way to escape and fearing for his life, Hruthik Reddy jumped from the building in an attempt to save himself.

Sadly, the fall caused severe head injuries. He passed away on the spot before medical help could reach him. The tragic news has left his parents, relatives, and friends in deep shock. For a family that had big hopes for his future, the sudden loss is extremely painful.

Efforts are currently being made to complete legal formalities and bring Hruthik Reddy’s mortal remains back to Telangana for final rites.
