The picture is clear in the United States. There is a transfer of power from the ruling party to the opposition party. It was a landslide victory for the opposition party after a long time. The United Kingdom elections created a big interest in India due to a few reasons.

Making the reports true the ruling Conservative Party lost the power to the Labour Party. After around 14 years the Conservative Party came to power in the United Kingdom. This is a big shock to the ruling party led by Rishi Sunak.

However, two big upsets came from the elections with two Telugu-origin MP candidates facing defeats. Uday Nagaraju and Dr Chandra Kanneganti lost the elections. People who felt they would win the elections faced a shock.

Uday Nagaraju is from Telangana’s Siddipet. He is an IT Professional and owns a lab. In the elections, he contested the North Bedfordshire seat. However, he lost the election with a slight margin. He gave his best in the campaign and sought support from the locals.

He promised development and chances to locals. He comes from a middle-class family. He went to Oxford University for higher studies and set up a lab there. Unfortunately, he lost the elections.

Dr Chandra Kanneganti is another Telugu candidate who contested the polls. As a Conservative Party candidate, he contested the Stoke-on-Trent seat. He said that if he is elected he would be a strong voice for the city. The Doctor said that he would make Stoke-on-Trent the best place to live and work and people can also raise the family.
