NATA (North American Telugu Association) Harrisburg team successfully conducted its first 'Meet & Greet' program along with membership drive.
NATA is the first national Telugu Association that conducted a successful Membership drive in the Harrisburg area under the leadership of Venkataramireddy Sanivarapu (BOD) and Baba Sontyana (Regional Vice- President) with the tremendous support from other NATA team leaders Ramakanth Jonnala (Regional Coordinator), Satya Reddy Adem (Regional Coordinator), Sam Ellanki (Regional Coordinator), other Committee members Rajasekhar Reddy Gade and Mallikarjuna Reddy Kasireddy.
NATA leadership team President Elect Sri Rajeshwar Gangasani Reddy, and Executive Vice President (EVP) Dr. Raghava Reddy Gosala, shared the objectives and importance of the organization, services offering to the Telugu community both in U.S. and in India.
The attendees were so enthusiastic, cheerful and interacted with the leadership to explore more about the NATA services and expressed their interest to strengthen the organization in the coming days.
Harrisburg Telugu community is looking forward to support the upcoming NATA conventions to be held in Dallas in 2016 and in Philadelphia in 2018.
As part of the first service activity in Harrisburg, NATA team donated a check to Vision Resource of Central Pennsylvania to support local blind people. Chennulu, Ghanu, Viswas, Keerthana Sontyana entertained with their songs. Mahima dance group performed classical dance and was received well by the audience. Yummy food was served by NATA volunteers.
Harrisburg NATA team expressed their sincere thanks to all the participants, sponsors and the leadership team for their support. The National NATA leaders participated are Rajeshwar Gangasani Reddy (President-elect), Raghava Reddy Gosala (Executive Vice President), and Dwarakanath Varanasi (Regional Vice President - New Jersey).
Close to 150 Telugu families attended the event and the event has added more than 50 new memberships to the NATA. Event MC's are Annapurnna Samala and Rajashekar Reddy Gade.
