Australia's Star Player Records Fastest WC Century!

Glenn Maxwell recorded the fastest century in the World Cup. He took just 40 balls to reach the magic figure.

Star Australian player Glenn Maxwell who is known as a pinch hitter showed his mettle on a big score. He made his bat talk and played a sensational knock in the ongoing World Cup and scored a superb century. His heroics with the bat made him set a massive record.

Glenn Maxwell recorded the fastest century in the World Cup. He took just 40 balls to reach the magic figure. In the process, the right-handed batsman broke the record held by South African player Aiden Markram who scored a century in 49 balls. Maxwell took nine balls less to score a century.

Glenn Maxwell scored 106 off 44 and helped Australia score a big total of 399 for eight against the Netherlands. His innings included nine fours and eight maximums. He took 27 balls to score a half-century and scored the second half in the century in just 13 balls.

The Australian player dedicated his superb century to his newborn child. After the superb century, he showed signs of holding a child in his hands. His newborn baby is named Logan Maverick Maxwell.

The fastest century record set up by South Africa’s Aiden Markram did not last too long as Glenn Maxwell broke it today. It was a total carnage at the stadium and he thrashed the Netherlands bowling attack and showed them stars. He did not spare any bowler and attacked them.
