King Kohli Enters Elite List, Grabs Fourth Spot!

The Run Machine is now in fourth place on the elite list of players who scored 50 plus scores in international cricket for the most number of times.

Virat Kohli is a name that needs no introduction. His brand image is unmatched and no other player comes close to him. To give an example of this, when the International Olympic Committee said cricket was proposed to be played at the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028, Virat Kohli's picture was used.

It is no wonder that Virat Kohli's picture was used as he is among the modern-day greats. As they say, numbers speak for themselves, there is no other active player who comes close to him be it in the number of centuries he has and the runs he smashed. He has been playing cricket for over 15 years.

Virat Kohli added another feather to his illustrious cap by adding another century to his name. The century marks the 48th century in the ODI format and the third one in the World Cups. Overall he has 78 centuries to his name which is a record by itself.

Well, Kohli did not stop there and set up a new record. The Run Machine is now in fourth place on the elite list of players who scored 50 plus scores in international cricket for the most number of times.

Virat Kohli scored 50-plus runs 212 times and surpassed legendary South African player Jacques Kallis(211). If we look at the overall list Sachin Tendulkar (264), Ricky Ponting (217), and Kumar Sangakkara (216) are in the top three places with Virat taking the fourth place.

Well, the century also made Virat Kohli enter another elite list. Virat Kohli reached the 26,000 runs club with the century and he is at the fourth spot on the list of all-time run scorers. Sachin is at the top place with 34357 runs followed by Kumar Sangakkara(28016) and Ricky Pointing(27483).
