'Bholaa Shankar' Trailer: A Complete Commercial Treat!

The much-awaited trailer of 'Bholaa Shankar' is out now. After scoring a super hit this Sankranti season, Megastar is ready to arrive with his second film this year. Meher Ramesh is directing this mass action entertainer which is a remake of the Tamil film 'Vedhalam' which was released back in 2015. The trailer makes it clear that the movie is a complete commercial package.

It starts off by showing the kidnappings of girls across Kolkata. The villain is introduced and he says that he cannot be touched which lays a perfect platform for revealing the hero. He arrives in style, mouths some punchlines and the tone of the trailer shifts completely. The comedy, songs and other characters in the movie are introduced. After that, it turns back into action mode and some hero elevations paired with stylish fight sequences are showcased. The trailer runs on a predictable note with cheesy dialogues and stylized action set pieces.

Tamannah is okay, Keerthy makes her presence felt despite zero dialogues and the rest of the actors are okay. But it is going to be an out-and-out Chiranjeevi flick as Meher completely banked on his aura and stardom for 'Bholaa Shankar'.

The makers made it clear that 'Bholaa Shankar' is not a movie that you watch for twists, turns and cinematic excellence. It is a complete commercial flick that can make the masses cheer for the hero on screen, enjoy the fun scenes and bring some emotion if possible. If you expect these things and enter the theatres, 'Bholaa Shankar' looks like a perfect film. Though the trailer offers all these, Meher Ramesh needs to make sure that he delivers all the above-discussed elements in abundance. Let us see what happens on 11th August.
