TDP Leadership Appoints In-charge For Rajanagaram!
Andhra Pradesh is all set to go for the general elections
By: Tupaki Desk | 21 July 2023 6:51 AM GMTAndhra Pradesh is all set to go for the general elections which are slated for commencement next year. Following this, the major parties in the state are busy drawing strategies to come to power. The opposition parties are aggressively going forward in this regard and taking the required measures.
Talking about the grand old Telugu Desam Party is on a spree of appointing the in-charges for the constituencies. Following the same, the opposition party appointed in charge for the Rajanagaram Assembly constituency in East Godavari district. Orders were also given in this regard.
Former YSRCP leader Boddu Venkataramana Chowdary was appointed as the Rajanagaram in charge. AP TDP chief Kinjarapu Atchannaidu gave orders in this regard and expressed the belief that Chowdary will give his best effort working for the party.
Though there is no official confirmation, we have to see Boddu Venkataramana Chowdary as the possible candidate of the opposition party for the next elections. As per the trend, the in-charges are being seen as the candidates as they have a better understanding of the concerned areas due to various reasons.
Coming to the concerned constituency two names were concerned for the post and Boddu Venkataramana Chowdary was preferred. However, it is said that the decision is getting some objections from the other camp as they are asking how they can take such a decision.
It is said that Pendurthi Venkatesh's camp is not happy with this as they ask how a person who recently joined the party can be preferred over people who have been with the party for a long time. It is known that Venkatesh won two consecutive elections and lost the 2019 polls.
Winning the next elections is very crucial and the need of the hour for the opposition Telugu Desam Party. The party recorded the worst performance in the previous elections and it wants to bounce back. As part of this, the party leadership is busy announcing the candidates and appointing in-charges. However, the process is said to be resulting in internal fights between the leaders and there are also a few fears that the same might happen in Rajanagaram.
