'Kalki 2898 AD' In Touching Distance To 300 Crores Already!

The magnum opus 'Kalki 2898 AD' is creating havoc at the box office. Despite releasing on Thursday, the movie amassed 191.5 crores on its first day and it showed the craze the movie has among the audience. The makers have now officially released a poster claiming that it is within touching distance of the 300 crore mark.

The movie collected a gross of 298.5 crores worldwide within 2 days of its release. With Saturday and Sunday still left the movie might even touch the 600 crore mark. The advance bookings and the buzz have been phenomenal even before the release and the movie got a positive talk which will definitely increase the collections. The makers claim that the love is pouring from all corners of the world.

This epic saga, directed by the visionary filmmaker Nag Ashwin, transports the viewers into a world where ancient legends and modern aesthetics seamlessly congregate, with its stunning visuals and intricate set designs. This Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan starrer is nothing short of a cinematic marvel.

The movie also featured a stellar cast of Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, and actors like Vijay Deverakonda and Dulquer Salmaan in special roles. Ashwini Dutt is the producer while Santosh Narayanan is the music composer.

Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of Ashwattama while Prabhas will be seen as Bhairava. Since it is connected to Indian mythology, the war episodes stand out. Disha Patani is the heroine named 'Roxie' while Deepika plays the role of Sumathi. Rajamouli was seen doing a cameo as well.
