Blockbuster 2026 Guaranteed For Tollywood?

This year 2025 is going to be a rather dry and dull season for Tollywood with not many big Hero films in the lineup. The year started with Ram Charan arriving with his Game Changer and that is about it when it comes to Star hero driven films for the rest of the year.

While this year turns out to be a drive, one what is being promised in 2026 is being keenly anticipated. The year will obviously start with the arrival of megastar Chiranjeevi’s film with Anil Ravipudi. This film is confirmed to arrive next Sankranthi.

Then we have a summer biggie in the form of Ram Charan’s Peddi. This film is preparing for release on March 27 next year, and it is carrying a lot of expectation already. Then we also have another non-superstar film Paradise featuring Natural star Nani.

This will be followed by Prabhas and Raghavapudi’s film which is releasing towards mid 2026 or later. Everyone associated with this film is extremely confident about the kind of content that has been generated till now. It is turning out to be one of the most anticipated projects in the making.

Then there is the Allu Arjun film with Director Atlee. This film is going to start with the shooting process this year, and considering the quick working rate of the Director, it might actually release in theatres towards the second half of 2026.

NTR will also be knocking on the doors next year as he is arriving with his favourite director, Prashanth Neel. This film is expected to release towards the end of next year.

Last, but not least, we have Rajamouli, who is working with Mahesh Babu now, and this project could also generate a lot of traction. However, there is skepticism on whether this would actually be released in theatres by the end of next year.

All in all, it must be noted that Tollywood is preparing for a jam packed 2026 with multiple films lined up for release.
