300 Cr Films: Who Is Leading South Cinema?

The kind of consistency that is shown by Telugu cinema when it comes to big money, films at the box office is beyond ordinary. The fact that multiple Telugu films in the recent past have been able to touch. This bracket is a clear indication of the fact that our consistency is not replicable.

In this context, we have multiple films from South Cinema that have been able to touch this bracket in the recent past. For instance, we have Thalapathy Vijay and superstar Rajinikanth, who have been able to deliver this momentum.

With his latest film Coolie, superstar Rajinikanth has been able to touch the 300 crore gross mark again, and this is a significant achievement as his third film to be in this bracket. We have another Tamil Hero Thalapathy Vijay, who has three films already in this very same bracket.

But on the contrary, we have Telugu superstar Prabhas, who has as many as six films in the 300 crore bracket and this speaks a lot about the kind of consistency that is displayed by the Telugu superstars.

Allu Arjun also has a couple of films in this bracket with Pushpa. NTR also has a couple with RRR and Devara.

Starting from now, every Telugu superstar will have multiple films in this bracket as the scale of production has been amplified and the audience are also turning up to the theatres in big numbers .
