'800' to arrive at cinemas on THIS date!

Former Sri Lankan cricketing great Muthiah Muralidaran's biopic '800' will arrive at the cinemas on October 6th. The news was made official on Saturday.

Starring Madhur Mittal of 'Slumdog Millionaire' fame as the protagonist, the film will be released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi across India by Sridevi Movies' Sivalenka Krishna Prasad. The release is going to be prominent across the country.

The film's trailer was released recently in the presence of Sachin Tendulkar. "As the trailer showed, our film is about the sport as well as organic human emotions," the makers have said.

"Muralidaran's childhood events, his achievements and the unknown facts in his life are going to ignite the audience's interest a great deal," stated Krishna Prasad, who is known for Telugu hits like 'Aditya 369'.

Mahima Nambiar plays Madhimalar Ramamurthy, the former cricketer's wife, in this film. Directed by MS Sripathy, the film also features Naren, Nassar, Vela Ramamoorthy, Riythvika, Vadivukkarasi, Arul Das, Hari Krishnan, and Sarath Lohithaswa
