Karthi's Laddu Remark Gets A Heated Reply From Deputy CM Pawan!

Tamil hero Karthi is treated as one of our own by the Telugu audience. His movies are always welcomed with open arms. After bagging multiple hits in recent years, Karthi had a setback with 'Japan'. But he is aiming to bounce back with 'Sathyam Sundaram' which is a heartfelt drama.

The pre-release event of this film was held in Hyderabad recently. Karthi along with Prem Kumar and heroine Sri Divya came to the event and Telugu bigwigs like Suresh Babu and others were present. During the event, the anchor was showing him some memes and one of them was the famous 'Laddoo Kavala Nayana' picture and Karthi funnily said that he won't speak anything about it as it is a sensitive issue.

While he said it on a lighter note, it did not go down well with many people. This included Andhra Pradesh's Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan. He said not to many jokes on 'laddu' and not to say that it is a 'sensitive issue'. Adding to that, he claimed that they have utmost respect on Karthi as an actor but suggested that he needs to think before speaking and respect the Sanathan Dharma. This comment from Pawan Kalyan has truly stirred the pot and we need to see if Karthi responds to that or not.

Directed by '96' fame C Prem Kumar, this entertainer is produced under 2D Entertainments by Suriya and Jyothika. The teaser and trailer promise a lot of pleasant moments, fun conversations, touching emotions and great life lessons. Set in a rural backdrop, the movie revolves mainly around two characters portrayed by Karthi and Aravind Swami. C Prem Kumar seems to have finessed the art of presenting a story without any chaos. The calmness that is found in '96' can be seen here too.

The movie also stars Sri Divya, Swathi Konde, and Devadarshini in important roles. Govind Vasantha is the music director while Mahendiran Jayaraju is the cinematographer. The humour, emotions and drama are going to be the key elements of 'Sathyam Sundaram'. Asian Suresh Entertainment is bringing the movie to the Telugu audience and the film is hitting the screens on 28th September.
