By: Priya Chowdhary Nuthalapti | 28 Oct 2026 9:33 AM ISTVictory Venkatesh's upcoming film Aadarsha Kutumbam - House No. 47 is creating interest ahead of its October 30 release. Director Trivikram Srinivas recently shared important details about the story during the film's pre-release event. Interestingly, his comments have raised one question: Is Aadarsha Kutumbam following the same concept as Venkatesh's successful film Drishyam.
Speaking at the event, Trivikram revealed that the film focuses on an ordinary man who is ready to go to any extent to protect his family.
He said, "How far can an ordinary person travel when pushed to the limit? That is the central question of Aadarsha Kutumbam."
This statement immediately reminds us of Drishyam, where Venkatesh played a common man who faced dangerous situations to save his family.
In Drishyam, the entire story revolves around a father's determination to protect his wife and daughters. He uses his intelligence and courage to handle a serious problem. Family protection is the main strength of that film.
Now, Trivikram's description of Aadarsha Kutumbam sounds somewhat similar. However, that does not mean both films have the same storyline.
Trivikram explained that the new film follows four characters named Chittibabu, Swarna, Sampoorna and Sarva. Their relationships and the difficult situations they face form the heart of the story.
Talking about family emotions, Trivikram said, "Family is something we are given; we do not choose it." He also compared family relationships to a well that never becomes empty, explaining how family continues to provide emotional support during difficult times.
Venkatesh has already impressed audiences with several family-based films. His performance in Drishyam received appreciation, especially for portraying a father who would sacrifice anything for his loved ones.
With Aadarsha Kutumbam, Trivikram appears to be exploring a similar emotional theme and possibly with a different treatment.
The biggest question is whether Trivikram has created something fresh around this familiar concept.
Will Aadarsha Kutumbam remind audiences of Drishyam, or will it offer a completely different experience. This answer will become clear when the film reaches theatres on October 30.
