That’s a character revelation that stunned them big time when they watched the film “3 Idiots” back in 2009. At that time, Amir Khan’s 3 Idiots, based on the novel “Five Point Someone”, written by Chetan Bhagat, had hit cinemas without any expectations and stunned the audience. Director Raj Kumar Hirani’s way of narrating emotionally striking stories with ample comedy has made audiences go mad over the film. How about a sequel for that?
While Chetan Bhagat hasn’t written any such novel, the hero and producer of the film, Amir Khan, has been pursuing the idea of crafting a sequel to the movie for a long time. Though it's not known if director Raju Hirani, who has later made “PK” with Amir Khan, is interested in the sequel or not, it’s coming out that the hero is currently getting a script written. In a recent interaction, the perfectionist star confirmed that a story is being worked out regarding 3 Idiots Part 2, and a hilarious idea has already clicked with them. He further added that Part 2 will be more stunning as it follows Phunsukh Wangdu (Amir) and his two friends, played by the likes of Madhavan and Sharman Joshi.
While the first part of 3 Idiots narrated the life of a student who aspires to become an engineer, and follows him to the valley of Ladakh, where he lives with his real name, many are wondering what the story of the second part will be now. Much of the star cast of the film has grown old, and they might demand huge remuneration to come back into the movie. Almost 18 years later, fans are wondering what the adventures of 3 Idiots will be like now.
