Lokesh opened up on Irumbu Kai Mayavi with Aamir Khan

Since many days there were rumours that Aamir Khan is going to be seen in Lokesh Kangaraj film Irumbu Kai Mayavi. Meanwhile Lokesh Kanagaraj recently revealed that Irumbu Kai Mayavi is a project that was written 10 years ag and is undergoing major changes. He explained that after seeing a similar mythological film, he had to revamp the script completely. In addition, Aamir Khan, the Bollywood superstar requested an action-packed film which further influenced the script's direction. The final project is still uncertain whether it will fall under the superhero or fantasy genre.

Lokesh said, “IrumbuKaiMayavi was written 10 Years back. Some Mythological film had came, resembling some scenes from IKM. So I have to change the entire script. Aamir Khan sir asked me to do an action film. We are not fixed if it's a superhero or Fantasy film.”
