Senior actor Shivaji, who recently made headlines with his powerful negative role in the newly released film Court alongside Priyadarshi, has once again proven his acting prowess. After a brief hiatus, Shivaji’s comeback has been met with immense appreciation, and in a recent interview, he shared his journey back to the screen and his gratitude toward actor-producer Nani.

Reflecting on his return, Shivaji revealed that his family and children always encouraged him to act again. Though he wanted to, he hesitated to ask for opportunities. It was after meeting ETV’s Bapineedu that he initially considered venturing into production. However, he was advised to step in front of the camera once again. This led to his role in the 90s web series, which was followed by his stint in Bigg Boss, a platform that reintroduced him to audiences. He described Bigg Boss as a turning point, allowing him to show the world who he truly was. Eventually, he received numerous offers, rejecting most of the fatherly roles that came his way. However, playing Mangapati in Court was a dream come true—one that he had waited 25 years for, all thanks to Nani.

Shivaji also expressed his admiration for Nani, not just as an actor but as a producer who is willing to take risks for the love of cinema. He acknowledged Nani’s efforts in encouraging fresh talent, drawing parallels between his production banner. He felt fortunate to work under Nani’s banner. The response to his Mangapati character was overwhelming, with some even comparing his performance to Bobby Deol’s in Animal, a compliment that brought him immense joy.
