Ravi Teja Going Back To Basics Once Again!

Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja who is trying to do something different every time often gets hurt by failures. After a blockbuster like 'Dhamaka', he tried to do something interesting and unique with 'Ravanasura' which failed badly. Now, he challenged himself as a performer through 'Tiger Nageswara Rao'. Though his acting is nothing short of brilliant, the movie is underperforming at the box office. This is not the first time as Ravi Teja faced setbacks whenever he did different movies like 'Naa Autograph', 'Neninthe', 'Shambo Shiva Shambo' and others.

He is currently working on 'Eagle' under Karthik Ghattamaneni's direction and an untitled film with Gopichand Malineni. While both of these films are being made on good budgets amidst decent expectations, it looks like Ravi Teja is trying to go back to basics once again. After these two, sources reveal that the 'Venky' hero will be joining hands with Anil Ravipudi once again. The duo gave 'Raja – The Great' before. Despite turning Ravi Teja into a blind guy, Anil made sure that there is a very good dose of entertainment in the movie. The film was a very big success.

Anil is riding high on the success of 'Bhagavanth Kesari'. He proved to everyone that he could make emotional action films too. But he reportedly wants to go back to comedy again and who else is better than Ravi Teja to take as the hero? Ravi Teja too wants to get back to his forte and deliver a massive success. Coming to 'Eagle', Anupama Parameswaran, Navdeep, Kavya Thapar, Madhubala and others are playing key roles. TG Vishwa Prasad is producing the movie, while Vivek Kuchibhotla is the co-producer. Written and directed by Karthik Gattamneni, the movie has a screenplay written by the director himself, alongside Manibabu Karanam. Davzand is the music director and Srinagendra Tangala is the production designer.
