Once her exams are done, she will start shooting for her next film, which is also titled Shakti Shalini, produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films.
According to reports, Aneet is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Political Science. Despite her busy acting schedule, she is determined to complete her education. A close source revealed that her timetable is well-organized so she can focus equally on her studies and professional commitments.
The source added, “It’s amazing to see how Aneet Padda, at such a young age, has achieved so much. She’s balancing her studies and career like a true professional. Her next big project, Shakti Shalini, is a highly anticipated film from Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU).”
The upcoming film Shakti Shalini is part of Vijan’s successful horror-comedy series, and it is scheduled for release on December 24, 2026.
Aneet started her acting journey with a small role in Salaam Venky (2022). She later appeared in the Prime Video series Big Girls Don’t Cry, which gave her more recognition. However, her real breakthrough came with Saiyaara, directed by Mohit Suri, where she played a songwriter diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s. The movie became one of the top-grossing romantic films of 2025.
Meanwhile, Maddock’s recent film Thamma, starring Rashmika Mandanna, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, continues the success of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe.
